Personal Income Tax Return Preparation

This year, we are working the following schedule at these library branches:

  • Mondays at Clemmons Branch at 6365 James St., Clemmons, NC 27102 (9AM-4:30PM)

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Reynolda Manor Branch at 2839 Fairlawn Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106 (9AM-1PM)

  • Thursdays at Central Branch at 660 W 5th St., Winston-Salem, NC 27101 (9AM-1PM)

  • Fridays (Feb 6 to Feb 27) at Clemmons Branch at 6365 James St., Clemmons, NC 27102 (9AM-3:30PM)

  • Fridays (starting on Mar 6) at Southside Branch at 3185 Buchanan St., Winston-Salem, NC 27127 (9AM-1PM)

An appointment is preferable and can be made at this website. We will have a limited number of walk-ins available. We appreciate your patience as we try to provide service to as many taxpayers as possible.

Our phones are staffed Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you call outside of these hours, you will be able to leave a message and we will return your call during our staffed hours.

Trained and certified AARP Tax Aide volunteers assist in preparing and filing your 2025 personal income taxes

AARP Tax Aide Services are provided for free in association with the IRS. Everyone is welcome regardless of age or income.

Clients do not need to be a member of AARP.

This year tax returns are being done by appointment. It is preferred that you have an email account for us to work with you this year. The computer equipment you have will determine the best way for you to access the needed forms. Even if you do not have the equipment listed below, we will still be able to help you.
